Subject: hobbes ftp down?

When I open URL ftp://hobbes, it says "FTP Error. Could not login to FTP
server. User anonymous unknown." (Below is a message from someone who
tried to download something from hobbes *which used to work*.)
Could you check into this please.

To whomever it may concern:
I'm very interested in playing with Cecil/Vortex
as both an aficianado of both prototype object systems and
multi-methods as well as compiler design. However,
hobbes.cs.washington.edu is not working for anonymous FTP.
I've tried the three common anonymous ftp logins:
"ftp", "guest", and "anonymous." None of them seem to work.
Could someone perhaps investigate this and mail be back
with more information if this is fixed or how to get
the Vortex distribution (for x86/Linux and Cecil).
