FYI for Whirlwind hackers:
If you haven't done so already, you should create a .whirlwindrc file in
your home directory. You can put in there commands that you want to run
when whirlwind starts. At the very least, you should have the following
line in there, which will turn graph verification on:
verify_graphs on
This will prevent you from doing what I did: happily running the compiler
without graph verification while coding/debugging, and then getting the
check-in tests to explode right when you thought you were ready to commit.
You can also take a look at ~chambers/.whirlwindrc to see what Craig uses.
