I've seen some code that's commented out be published. In general, I think we
should avoid this. I can't tell whether this is testing code, or code that no
longer works or is necessary, or code that may need to be put back in someday,
or what. I'm tempted to remove all such commented out code, since it clutters
up the code that is there making it harder to understand, but I don't want to
mess up some marker that somebody left.
So please clean out any commented-out code before publishing, unless there's a
good reason to leave it in, in which case there should be a comment explaining
it.
