I hadn't seen it before--Neno and a paper by Garlan recommended the paper
I have on the web page as an overview. The POPL paper seems to describe
an advanced but unremarkable OO type system. Although I haven't read it
in detail, I don't really see what about it is specific to software
architecture. I think the architecture and pattern languages discussed in
the paper on the 590L web page are much more interesting, novel, and
supportive of analyses, than the type system in the POPL paper.

As a reminder, we're reading the SADL paper, Correct Architecture
Refinement, next week in 590L. If there is interest, we could read a
Rapide paper after that.

Jonathan :-)
