Cecil administrative stuff

    Here are a few administrative things that we may want to talk about
    at the next group meeting.

    1) Affiliates is this quarter (Feb. 25-26). Last year, I remember
    that there was some confusion as to how we were supposed to sign up for
    slots etc., and a lot of stuff happened at the last minute. We should
    maybe spend a few minutes figuring out what the plan of action is going to
    be, and what the time frame is going to be.

    2) Prospective students. The visit days are next quarter, but the letters
    of admissions will go out this quarter, and prospectives will start
    browsing web pages. I think it would be good to have the cecil web page
    up-to-date by the end of January. I think the easiest way to do this is if
    each person updates the parts of the web page that are related to their
    work.

      - If your latest papers are not on the list of papers, please add
        them.
      - Make sure that the blurb about the work you are involved with is
        up-to-date.
      - If you have started some new line of work that does not have a blurb
        yet, add a blurb about it.
      - Also, some central person should add whoever is new to the group to
        the people section, and move whoever graduated to the alumns section.

    If we do this every January, we'll keep the web page up-to-date with only
    incremental effort every year.

    We can talk about this further at our next group meeting.
