I've moved a lot in my life. My
mother is Romanian and my father is Indonesian. I was born in Algeria
and we stayed there till I was about 8 years old. After that we decided
to move back to Indonesia. When I was 18 years old, I received a
scholarship to do my undergraduate studies in Singapore. I continued to
stay in Singapore to do my masters and to work in the University as a
Research Assistant. I met my
husband in Singapore and we decided to
settle down, get married and buy an apartment. But alas it was not meant to be :) We stayed in our new apartment for less than 6 months before we moved to Seattle. The hardest part about moving to Seattle is having to live so far away from my parents, my two sisters, Ines and Ira, and my beautiful niece Adeline who are all still living in Indonesia. I have not lived in the same country with them since I was 18 years old, but at least the flight from Singapore to Indonesia was only 1.5 hours, now it takes us a day and not to mention the 15 hours jet lag :) Moving to Seattle photos. |
