NPR takes a detour

NPR resorted to feeding content over the internet as a satellite
broke last night; a satellite that provided connectivity for 80-90% of
pagers, thousands of credit card transaction processor thingies, and a
bunch of TV and radio stations. Apparently there was no backup satellite
in place.
