He might want to get a Myrinet setup, or some other high speed network, to
be able to play with active networking in the gigabit realm. Myrinet might
make sense, since they're using it at Duke and Berkeley, but there may be
some other nice, fast technology i don't know about. To go along with that
network, i guess he'd want half a dozen PCs or Alphas.
