and any ideas on this?

Each project will be represented by a 20 minute status briefing,
which should contain
one slide on goals of project
one "news story" accomplishment; a graphic and 200 words of
description
overview of recent work
a discussion of how active technology is being used in the project
or
will be used by February 1, 1999
a discussion of how the project will operate over the ABONE

In addition, each PI will participate in a 45 minute briefing on how an
two demonstrations will be achieved in FY99, in which core active
network technology is combined with service technology and novel protocols.
Each demonstration team should have a clear goal, more than the sum
of the parts. Each team must have a reprogrammable basis, security,
coherent API, and use ANEP format. Work must be done on the ABONE/CAIRN.

Teams should begin their discussions immediately and plan their briefings.
The assignments are given below; the intention is to have each team provide
complementary technology towards a common goal that demonstrates the
power of an active network. One slide of the briefing can address concerns
about lack of time, money, equipment, infrastructure, contract, or other
misfortunate detail. Some people are on more than one team; this is
deliberate,
but subject to fine-tuning if the burden is too high.
