Last minute suggestions on slide-making:
Transparencies: not too cluttered, use big fonts (try not to go
smaller than 24pt)
Paper copies: I'm told there are 35 people coming, so make ~ 35
copies. I suggest printing 4-up, so we don't use reams of paper (and so
we and our guests don't have to carry reams of paper). Be careful about
color. If your slides require color to understand (ie for
graphs/diagrams) then consider either making color copies of those
slides or using different line styles so readers can understand them in
B&W. If you can make copies early then you can give them to lisa to put
in folders.

Electronic copies: put copies of our slides in

On Tuesday night or Wednesday morning, I will attempt (time
permitting) to copy all of these files onto whatever laptop David
secures for us. If they are in PowerPoint format then, as a last ditch
effort, it will be possible to present using our the LCD projector that
David is getting for us. DO NOT COUNT ON THIS. MAKE TRANSPARENCIES AND
PAPER COPIES.

Finally, I guarantee that at 6am on Wednesday morning the transparency
printers will fail and the Xerox machines won't work. You probably want
to get your printing/copying done before the last minute ;-)
