The new stable series of the linux kernel sources is out.
For those who want it, I have it on the linux hosts in /usr/src/linux-2.2/
and linux-2.2.0.tar.gz. This is in afs-land at
/afs/cs/system/os/i386_linux2/usr/src/linux-2.2.0.tar.gz

The linux-2.2 series is the culmination of the linux-2.1.X series of development
kernels that started in Sept 96. They ran through 130 or so minor
releases and 9 pre-releases of 2.2.

One new feature I discovered is in-kernel Coda filesystem support.
