On the way home I was listening to NPR (around 6:45) and they were
interviewing someone who was explaining communications architectures and how
its expensive to strings lots of wires back to the central office and how in
high population areas you want a separate system to disseminate information
etc...
Anyway, I was SURE I was litening to Marketwatch and this was about the
upcoming Akamai IPO.
However... it turned out to be about the history of pneumatic tube systems
in Paris and London in the Victorian era.
