Although I do have a vortex tree created by Craig, I said I'd create a bona
fide tree from scratch on my laptop.
I used the CVSROOT andrei@barb:/projects/cecil/CVS and I issued:
cvs checkout -P .
to get everything in the tree. I did get a number of projects, but at a
point I got the following error:
cvs server: failed to create lock directory for `/projects/cecil/CVS/stager'
(/projects/cecil/CVS/stager/#cvs.lock): Permission denied
cvs server: failed to obtain dir lock in repository
`/projects/cecil/CVS/stager'
cvs [server aborted]: read lock failed - giving up
Does anyone know what the problem might be?
Andrei
